19995月从中国技术移民加拿大多伦多。与大多数移民一样,首先进入了“LINK”班学习了3个月的英语,也尝试寻找相关的专业工作,但未得成功。
通过思考和分析自己的特点,决定发挥自己曾经有过国际贸易的经验和在中国的生产资源渠道,把中国的地质工程产品通过在加拿大的公司代理销售至全球,在中国商会的帮助下,20001月注册成立了自己的公司。
回顾这几年的商业过程,有以下几方面的服务得到了客户的认可,销售渠道组建打开,业务涉及加拿大,美国欧洲和亚太地区,销售量由第一年的二十多万美金上升到2007年的五百多万美金。

高质量的服务不论是技术问题,或是报价和运输等问题,不论是美洲客户,或是欧洲和亚太地区客户,我们都能在24小时答复。客户极为满意,在2007年,在德国DSI公司的供应商总体评估中,被评为最高级别“A”级。

Mr. Jian Yu arrived in Toronto in May 1999 as a skilled immigrant from China. He enrolled in a 3-month ESL class to study English and at the same time, actively looked for work, but without much success. Through much reflection, he decided to embark on his own local Chinese mining knowledge and local Chinese connections to start an international trade business in the Geo-Engineering product industry. In January 2000, with the assistance from CBCC, CMP International was incorporated.
Through hard work, dedication and the world as his market, sales channels were opened rapidly in Canada, USA, Europe and the Asia Pacific regions. Sales of US$200,000 for the first year grew to over US$5 million by 2007. With continuous learning, adapting and adjusting to customer’s needs, CMP International became a reliable partner to both manufacturers and customers. Europe and USA’s new manufacturing technologies were introduced to Chinese manufacturers and products were produced fully in accordance to customer standards, resulting in complete trust worthy products and services. In 2007, Germany’s DSI awarded the highest level to CMP International as an “A” grade supplier.
Mr. Jian Yu is the deserving winner of the Import / Export Award.
